Most of y’all are probably already familiar with the My Little Homestead family (mylittlehomestead.com). Their youtube videos are some of the most popular on the subject of earthbag building. in 2005, they bought land out in the country and began building their own earthbag structures on them. Each of their kids also designed and built their own houses. How cool is that? It seems that such a project would be very empowering and teach the kids that they can live independently. My wife and one of my students are big fans of the family and have kept me updated about their projects and such through the years. Today, my student shared a video with me that tells the story of the family and focuses on the building of one of the houses. Enjoy!
